Five999 Terms of Service

1. Agreement and scope

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Five999, including our FiveM roleplay server, website, authentication system, and related community services (together, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. The Five999 server

Five999 provides a fictional roleplay environment where players can create characters, participate in scenarios, interact with other players, and contribute to an evolving fictional world. We may change, maintain, suspend, reset, or discontinue parts of the Services as reasonably needed to operate or develop the server.

3. Eligibility

You must meet the age requirements and other eligibility rules imposed by applicable law, Discord, FiveM/Cfx.re, and the Five999 server rules. Any additional requirements that apply to specific server features will be communicated through the relevant official channels.

4. Authentication

Some Services require authentication through Discord or another supported method. Five999 may associate your account with limited information such as your Discord ID, Discord username/tag, FiveM name, and technical authentication/session information. You must not bypass, manipulate, or interfere with authentication or security controls.

5. Server rules

You must comply with the current Five999 server rules published through our official community channels. Rules may cover roleplay standards, player conduct, cheating and exploitation, harassment, metagaming, powergaming, character behaviour, use of software, and interactions with staff.

The server rules operate alongside these Terms. Staff may reasonably interpret and apply the rules to protect the server, its systems, and its community.

6. Fictional character and world data

Players may submit or generate information relating to fictional characters and the roleplay world, including character names and histories, occupations, businesses, properties, vehicles, relationships, factions, organisations, roleplay events, in-game transactions, and other persistent world records.

This information is needed to operate, maintain, moderate, balance, and develop the Five999 world. By submitting it, you understand that it may be stored and used for those operational purposes and to preserve the continuity of the roleplay environment.

Do not intentionally enter unnecessary real-world personal information into character fields, roleplay records, or other Five999 systems.

7. User-submitted content

You remain responsible for content you submit to the Services. You grant Five999 a non-exclusive permission to store, reproduce, organise, modify, display, back up, and use that content within the operation and management of Five999, where reasonably necessary to operate the server, maintain world continuity, moderate the community, investigate rule violations, restore data, and develop the Services.

This permission does not transfer ownership of your original content to Five999. It does not give Five999 permission to use your content for unrelated purposes.

8. Prohibited conduct

You must not cheat, exploit bugs for unfair advantage, circumvent bans, interfere with server infrastructure, attempt unauthorised access, abuse vulnerabilities, impersonate staff or players, harass or threaten community members, submit unlawful or malicious content, or use the Services in a way that violates applicable law or the Five999 rules.

9. Moderation and enforcement

Five999 may investigate suspected breaches of these Terms or the server rules. Actions may include warnings, content removal, restrictions, kicks, temporary bans, permanent bans, or other reasonable moderation measures.

Relevant information may be retained within Five999 systems where reasonably necessary to enforce rules, investigate incidents, maintain security, or prevent repeat abuse.

10. Data storage and third-party access

Information stored within Five999 systems is intended to remain within systems controlled by Five999. Five999 does not intend to grant third parties access to player data stored within our systems, and does not sell, rent, trade, license, or otherwise provide stored player data to third parties for their own use.

Authorised Five999 staff may access information where reasonably necessary for server administration, moderation, security, technical support, maintenance, or development. Discord and FiveM/Cfx.re are independent platforms; these Terms do not control information you provide directly to those platforms or information they collect through their own services.

11. Availability and changes

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Services. Maintenance, updates, technical failures, security incidents, hosting issues, or other circumstances may cause downtime or loss of access.

Five999 may change gameplay systems, scripts, assets, the economy, character systems, rules, or stored world data as part of operating and developing the server. Backups and restoration efforts may be used where appropriate, but data loss cannot be ruled out.

12. Privacy

Our handling of account information, authentication information, and fictional character/world data is described in the Five999 Privacy Policy. Our use of authentication cookies is described in the Five999 Cookie Policy.

13. Third-party services and intellectual property

The Services may be used alongside independent services such as Discord and FiveM/Cfx.re. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies, and Five999 does not control their independent operations.

Five999's original code, systems, branding, website content, and materials remain the property of their respective owners unless otherwise stated. Grand Theft Auto V, FiveM/Cfx.re, Discord, and related third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners. Five999 is not affiliated with or endorsed by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, Cfx.re, or Discord unless expressly stated.

14. Suspension and termination

Five999 may restrict or terminate your access where reasonably necessary, including for breach of these Terms or the server rules. You may stop using the Services at any time.

Ending access does not automatically require immediate deletion of information that Five999 reasonably needs to retain for persistent fictional world data, security, moderation, rule enforcement, or other lawful operational purposes. Applicable data protection rights remain unaffected.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Five999 develops or as applicable requirements change. The current version will be published through official Five999 channels with a revised Last Updated date. Where required, we will take appropriate steps to notify users of material changes.
